Shipping Included in the USA The Lion Head Nebula (also known as Sh2-132) is found in the constellation Cepheus, approximately 10,000 light-years away in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. It is located in a dense HII (hydrogen-two) region of ionized hydrogen that is believed to be an area of new star formation, and features star clusters, emission nebulae and dark dust regions. The Lion Head Nebula is primarily an emission nebula containing massive stars that ionize the gas in the region. Two Wolf-Rayet stars have been identified in the region. These stars are massive and hot, with a white-blue coloration.
