It is designed to effectively test the fiber transmitter capability and receiver sensitivity of network components and systems such as 100GBASE-SR10 CFP/100GBASE-SR10 CXP transceivers that feature an MPO interface. By connecting them to MPO/MTP trunks/patch leads, MPO loopback can facilitate and accelerate the IL testing of optical network segments.
