It includes a 1000BASE-ZX SFP Singlemode 1550nm transceiver module and allows you to extend a Gigabit Ethernet network to 80km (49.7 miles) over Singlemode fiber. This LC Singlemode 80km media converter provides external power as default. It can be used as a stand-alone unit or slide-in module when inserted into Optcore’s low-cost 14-slot Media Converter Rack Chassis(MC-RACK-14) that allows all the fiber media converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
